Dr. Mini Mehra

Dr. Mini Mehra is board certified in both Pediatrics, and Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.


Dr. Mehra received her medical training from the University of Texas Health Science Center, and completed her Pediatric internship and residency at the UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Mehra completed her fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at the University of California, Los Angeles.


She is now serving the greater South Bay Region after 15 years of medical practice at UCLA Medical Center. She holds hospital affiliations at Miller Children’s Hospital, Fountain Valley Regional Medical Center, and Torrance Memorial Medical Center. She holds an academic appointment at the University of California-Irvine and previously at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She was the director of the Pediatric Eosinophilic GI Disorders Clinic at the UCLA School of Medicine, as well as the Chief of the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology at Olive View- UCLA Medical Center.


Dr. Mehra’s areas of interest include Eosinophilic GI disorders, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Hepatology, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease and Pediatric Endoscopic procedures. Her experience extends from the nutritional support of the neonate to eating disorders of the adolescent.


Dr. Mehra is an active member of the medical community, with memberships in several national professional organizations, including the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Medical Association. More locally, she is a member of the Medical Advisory Board for the Manhattan Beach Unified School District and Women in Medicine in LA. She plays a key role in the Torrance Memorial Medical Center Eating Disorders Inpatient Program as the main Gastroenterologist. She has also lectured extensively in her areas of expertise both nationally and internationally.


In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and twin boys.


Dr. Mehra is fluent in Spanish and Hindi.


Dr. Mehra currently has offices in Torrance and Long Beach.
